octopus, here we come!
this weekend is 'lunar new year' or "sol-nar" here in korea. no doubt the roads will be jam-packed with families driving to meet up, so we're taking the high road and flying -- out of the country. we'll be in Osaka, Japan until tuesday morning. please pray we make it to class on time lol. :) our plane touches back down in seoul at 11:30 am; then we have to bus into wonju. class begins at 2:40 pm.
please also pray for trenton, as he's battling a cold. we're excited to sleep in japanese-style rooms, taste octopus, get our feet washed at some street-side bath, and visit the world-famous Osaka Castle.
we'll post pictures upon our return. with all our love on this lunar new year, em and trent.

Beautiful Picture!! I love it em!
have fun in Osaka! It really was a good memory for us. Osaka castle is gorgeous this time of the year with all the blossoms on the trees. I really reccomend the aquarium though it's a little pricy. For food I really enjoyed the suishi bars and battered vegetables and meat dipped in hot oil.
Have a GROOVIN' TIME!!
Love ya!
Sacha
Have a Happy New Year!
Hey you guys!
Japan sounds fantastic, I will be looking forward to photos =)
I'm reminded of that old SNL skit with Chris Farley and Mike Myers where Chris gets on a game show ... seen it? Anyways, HILARIOUS results, I'm sure it's an exageratted Americanized point of view, but you may want to steer clear of game shows... lol, have tones of fun, I'll be praying for your safe and timely return.
Love you!
Amy
P.S. the sushi will be kickin!
I love that painting! It is probably my favorite so far, but you know how I feel about butterflies.
Japan sounds so cool. The closest we've been is Japanese village. We went there with Teshah and Shaun for Valentines day. It was just like the movies, with the cook frying everything in front of you and doing cool throwing moves with his knives and stuff. It was pretty fun.
Have fun this weeekend. Trent, get some sleep to fight that cold.
Love you both
hey emily, that's a great painting!

love, Mel
