inside these walls...
here is a collage of pictures from within em's classroom. first we have grace, and her new book "the dog." :) her smile is awkward, but her spirit is beautiful. then we have some artwork and photos of my youngest students....
two boys named 'owen' and 'robert' who are bright and quirky...
and finally, a controversial yet provokingly profound paper by a girl named 'patty', and a lovely piece of 'prose' by a boy named MJ.

Ah, to be young again.
Hi Em! It sounds like your students certainly have minds of their own. And what more could we want as teachers. Perhaps one day I will have some work that some of my students created to post up. Hope things are going well. Love you.
out of the mouth of babes...
wow, what great pieces of work! It was great to see snapshots of your students! Young students never cease to amaze me:) Makes me miss teaching:)
Have fun teaching:)
love, Mel
Hey girl!
all I can say is WOW -- the one peice of lit. from 'Patty' about G.W. Bush -- the country really is torn, and angry about the war, alot of people here think he's just lost it. (The people we've talked to anyways..) That writing makes such a provocative statement, coming from someone so young, and female, and living in another country. Kudo's to her! Some of the best wisdom comes from children...
and your kids are really cute =)
Love you! A.
Oh my! That little Grace just tugs at my heart -- when I saw the picture, my mind immediately went to the Wind in the Willows and Alice in Wonderland. She has such an adorable look about her.
Oh, to have a little kid like Grace with the awkward smile.....
I wonder if MJ was writing prophetically... Eagles are very important, Scripturally. :)
