peaceful power

blue stream
trickling like a ribbon
flowing curtain-esque 'round
the world:
peaceful power...
don't let me freeze over
become an ice-block
slippery slope of sullen
pride
keep me ever-flowing
a refreshing river
splashing the spirit of God

purified, purifying
ever-flowing

(emily's prayer inspired by her mother's dream)

Hey girl!
What a wonderful 'minds picture' - and very biblical too, like that one worship song says "Make my life a flowing river, of your everlasting love,
Like a living stream, flowing from a mighty ocean
purify in my
my desires and my devotion..."
Love you girl!
BTW - prayers are answered for the time being -- but still waiting on a job.
Love you and miss you lots,
A.

Hey Em~ That's a beautiful poem. I know God's flowing through you and touching people's lives. Keep the vision of His love pouring over you, as you let go and embrace that freedom to let it wash over you.

Take care my sweet friend.
Love,

Sacha

It's a beautiful prayer. Didn't know they could sound like that. I have much to learn.

Dear Em,

what a beautiful picture you have painted with words--God's spirit washing over us, purifying us! You know what? I think that God is using you as a stream of refreshing to many people.

p.s.that is a really cute picture of the two of you:)

love you! Mel

I really love your new hair too Emily! I had my hair short like that for a long time... it is long now but ironically i've been thinking about going back to the pixie style myself! It suits you so well... keep it forever! I admire your snowboarding courage too... I tried snowboarding for about half a day before I got too frustrated and put my skiis back on. Maybe someday I'll try again...
