my nhl hubby

well... maybe he's not quite nhl material, but today he sure reflected one under the hot korean sun. it was trenton's first roller hockey tournament ... he rose at 6:15 am and rode with one of the guys to Chucheong -- a popular city located one hour away. i followed later on a bus to cheer on the sweating, gloriously happy boys. kimbap (rice rolled in seaweed), bananas and kit kats fed the hungry crew. around 3 pm, when they'd won their final game, trent and i hit the streets to wander among countless old women and men selling their wares from tiny stalls ... trent bought some KFC, we marveled at architecture, laughed at the 'athlete's foot' store, then wearily bussed home. truly a sunday that 'scores' high on our list of days to remember :)

Hey =)
Looks like fun! Can you imagine, maybe the whole reason for you guys going to Korea is for Trent to pursue professional roller hockey and become a star!!!!
you never know... I love the goalie, he looks like you could just hug him, but you'd be scared at the same time... lol
hope you have a good week -- love and prayers,
A.

That sounds like so much fun. And I love hearing about all the interesting food you get to eat. Em, you have to learn how to cook some of the stuff and make us a real Korean meal when you get back. That would be so awesome! Right now I'm struggling with a really bad cold. I forgot that when you start to be around 400 kids a day you pick up all the bugs they are carrying around. Sniff hork gurgle.
Love you both.

Hey, Trent, no more red shirt for you!! Some would call you a traitor, eh? I think you look so great in the pictures. Looks like you are having a blast. Yes, now I know why you constantly told me that you are "Trenton the Great one." Proof in the pictures .. and once again, I stand amazed at your abilities! YOU have so many gifts.

Em, I love reading your thoughts and the prayer you sent was so beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for keeping us all in touch with your wonderful life there.

Love you lots!
