finding 'seoul-ace' :)
today we stumbled upon the 12-million peopled capital called Seoul, a beautiful, busting metropolis filled with items from home we've been missing. trenton scored some of korea's few root beers from a hole in the wall otherwise known as the black market. he also bought Iginla's jersey for a mere 25,0000 won ($25) just in time for the start of the NHL season. we purchased a humorous t-shirt remarking on korea's major alcoholic influence (the green bottle in emily's hand -- Soju), some 'copies' of new movies like Click, the Break-Up and Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (copied films are sold at every corner)... we also found a 6-pound bag of pretzels (a must have :)), some used english novels, korean clothing, and a huge international food market. we buzzed around with the other millions of ants in a major subway system, taxis and busses. this past week God answered trent's prayers by providing him with free equipment to play 'roller hockey' with other korean guys every tuesday and thursday evening. he also played some ping pong and was introduced to the korean martial art of 'kumdoo' (which you can see our friend Dan playing below). it's been a good week.

Hey!
I'm soo glad to hear the week has been good, Seoul must have been crazy busy, we really live in such a bubble in North America hey? Yay for getting cheap stuff!! I'm all over that -- just don't turn into "Alchie's" over there with all that Green bottled stuff...
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love, A.
6 POUNDS OF PREZTALS! It's a dream world over there. Trent, I'm glad to hear that you will be playing roller hockey and ping pong. It's been raining here for like 2 weeks straight so we've hardly stepped out the door. When there was a break Teshah and I played tennis, but got rained out from a storm. We played in it a little while until the thunder shook the ground and the lightening seemed really close. I love seeing pictures of you guys. I miss you. Love you both.
Isn't it the best to get a good deal and to have so much fun shopping over there! Wonderful pictures of you both. You look healthy and happy and that is a joy to see!
Have the best week and enjoy to the fullest the work that you have been blessed with.
Hugs from all of us here, Auntie D and family
Hey, Trent, it was sooo nice to hear your voice tonight on MSN. What a great thing technology is, eh?
Have a great day. I am just thinking of winding my day down.
Good night. Give our love to Em too.
Auntie D.
