mom's the word
tomorrow night trent's mom and her two sisters will be arriving! we've signed them into a local motel/sauna, and are thrilled about the prospect of showing them around our cozy town. we're also anticipating the arrival of many longed-for items such as popcorn seasoning, deodorant (let's just say koreans keep it 'au natural'), canvas supplies and hockey gear.... these weeks have been trying due to parents observing our classes and 'critiquing' our style. we're finding peace of mind in watching our turtle grow (lol) and laughing our guts out at The Office (season 2).

you're only on season 2, eh? tut tut. get with the times, people. the season finale is a real eye-poker.
Keith introduced me to the joys of The Office when I came to Ottawa. In fact, we had a two-evening Office marathon my first week here, in order to get caught-up before the new season. Without TV, though, I'm afraid I've fallen behind the times once again. When you come back to Canada, we'll have to all watch some as a family!
I love the office! It's so funny! Rob and I try to catch it on TV when we can. My name is Earl is pretty funny as well. I was thinking, since Turtles are illegal in Canada, are there any Tortoises there? If there are, you have to pick one up for me before you come home! Give Mom and big hug and kiss for me! Love you both.

how exciting!! hope you have lots of fun showing off your favourite cafes, saunas, scenic spots & restaurants em & trent! love you lots... too bad squishy isn't really a huggable pet, eh? i'm sure it'll grow up to look just as sunned, vibrant & enthusiastic as you two look. i'm so glad your mom's coming after the other parents did their unfavourable job of scrutinizing your classroom efforts! i brag about you guys every chance i get ;) keep on LIVING! it's so inspiring... thanks =)
